This policy applies to the data we collect through the gruk.es website (the “Website”), the contact/appointment form, and any care relationship established at the centre.
We process the personal data you provide us for the following purposes:
The legal basis for processing your data is, depending on the case: performance of a contractual or pre-contractual relationship (when you request an appointment or quote), compliance with legal obligations specific to healthcare activity, and your explicit consent when you provide health data through the form or during the consultation.
When you fill in the contact form or describe your reason for consultation, you may voluntarily provide us with data relating to your health. This is a special category of data (Art. 9 GDPR) that we only process with your explicit consent — given when you submit the form or otherwise provide us with this information — and solely for the purpose of assessing and attending to your request.
We never ask you to send us health data that is not necessary to handle your enquiry, and we recommend you do not include additional sensitive information that is not relevant.
Data provided through the contact form is kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and, at most, for one year from the last contact if you do not ultimately become a patient of the centre.
If you become a patient, clinical documentation is kept for the periods required by applicable healthcare regulations (in particular, legislation on patient autonomy and clinical documentation), and billing data for the corresponding tax and commercial periods.
As a general rule, we do not disclose your data to third parties, except in the following cases:
We do not carry out international transfers of data outside the European Economic Area.
You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether we at Gruksalud are processing personal data concerning you, and specifically you have the right to:
You can exercise these rights by emailing us at <a href="mailto:info@gruk.es">info@gruk.es</a> or writing to our registered address, stating the right you wish to exercise and enclosing a copy of a document proving your identity.
If you believe that the processing of your data does not comply with current regulations, you have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (<a href="https://www.aepd.es" target="_blank" rel="noopener">www.aepd.es</a>).
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, including access control to information, staff confidentiality, and protection against unauthorised access, loss or alteration of data.
This Website <strong>does not use</strong> third-party or advertising-tracking cookies. The only storage we use in your browser is a <em>localStorage</em> entry (a technical storage technology, not a cookie) which is used solely to remember the language you have chosen (Catalan, Spanish or English) for your next visit. This information never leaves your device or is sent to our servers.
For this reason, and in accordance with current regulations (Art. 22 LSSI), this technical and necessary use does not require your prior consent via a cookie banner.
We may update this privacy policy to adapt it to legislative or organisational changes. We recommend you review it periodically. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
